Immature
I've decided to act like a little perverted 13 year old and be an idiot. I went on that Omegle site and had some fun. I took screenshots since I finally found out how... compliments of Google. lol. Since it's not photography, I'll put it up. :D

Welcome, Flash
We finally got Flash, the new ferret. He's at John and Angela's, along with the other two ferrets. Flash is a big boy. Yeah, he's a bit chubby. But he's also just big. He's a bit bigger than Gir, really. As you can imagine, I went crazy on them with my camera. I've definitely been a camera Nazi all weekend. lol. I've got tons of pictures of the "Fuzzies", as Daddy calls them. Since I don't really put pictures up on this blog anymore, if you want to see Flash, you'll have to go to my photography blog. That URL is ashleymaephotography.wordpress.com. I've got my latest photography (where I actually tried, thank you) on there, as well as, as of now (8:40am) the new ferret pictures.

A short one
This one is going to be small, seeing as how it's 1:20 in the morning, and I'm looking forward to going to bed, but I just wanted to post this. Gotta keep everyone updated, ya know? Anyways, Daddy's gone to South Carolina to see my half-sister and her mom, and get a new ferret. His name is Flash, which I'm sure I've mentioned in a previous post. So, a new ferret means a new living toy for myself and Megan. xD

Another new house
Daddy found another house for us. It's big - 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. The fireplace is wood-burning, unlike our current gas one (at Mama's house), and it's pretty decently sized. The living room isn't the biggest, but who really needs a big living room? A TV and a couch are really all you need for that.. Anyways, there's one huge bedroom that I didn't really get to see in (we stayed outside because the owner wasn't with us) except for through the screen. The size is nice, I just didn't get a good look at the floors or whatever. Now a room I'm kinda wanting is small, but it has a bathroom connected to it, and I've never had that before. AND, it's right by the kitchen. :]
Now, onto the bathroom. Or at least the one I got to see. It's all wood except for the floor. The cabinets are wood (duh) but they look really old. Like someone just threw them together one day and painted them white. They're actually nice-looking, though. The house is almost 100 years old, mind you. The floor had tile, but I can't remember what it looked like. The sink was nice. The bath was one of those tub/showers. So that's always a plus. I have one now, and I'd honestly like to keep it that way.
Now for the scenery. It's surrounded by woods, except for the far right end of the property, which is where you turn in.The front porch is pretty well sized, and the back porch is small as shit. It has room to walk out, and be able to see one or two chairs. But, as with the living room, you don't need a big back porch. It's the front porch that matters. And, it worked out at this house. The trees in the back are pure woods (from what I saw, I did see light, though, so it must not be too thick) but there's great climbing trees back there. :D

Paranormal Activity
I've decided to take a shot at finding and watching "Paranormal Activity". I've never seen it, but I've heard it was scary as hell. So, seeing as it's been a while since I've seen something worth watching. So I'm gonna do it once I find it.
Back at Mama's
I'm finally back at Mama's place for the first time since Friday evening. Staying at John and Angela's is fun, don't get me wrong, but it gets annoying sometimes because Lorraine whines when she doesn't get what she wants, and Chris tries to act like he knows everything about everything. Although he's eight, so I suppose that's how it goes? Megan's always locked up in the laundry room because her and their dog, Angel, can't stand each other. I guess that's because they're both females. Oh, well. Megan does have fun chasing the RC cars aroud, though. It's hilarious to watch. It is pretty bad when the car outruns the dog. But it's great fun.
Now, let me go into the nights. I sleep on the couch. At first, it was great, seeing as how they have a very comfortable leather couch. Now, though, it's uncomfortable to try to sleep on. My head/neck starts hurting, so I usually sleep without the armrest as a pillow and just sleep flat. Then, there's Daddy, John, and Angela getting drunk every weekend. It's SO annoying! They blast their music, yell instead of talk, and just be stupid. It's incredibly annoying and hard to get to sleep. And, again, Megan sleeps in the laundry room, which is right beside the back room, where they party. Poor baby. :[

Moving/job update
A couple blogs ago, I said how Daddy wanted that King's Bay job. Well, he found one in Mozambique, (I think that's how you spell it, I dunno) Africa. The pay is 200k+ a year. I said no because, no racism intended, I need to be around more of my own color. So, Africa's not happening. Then, he found one in Alaska that pays 160 - 190k a year. It'd be really pretty, and just great for pictures. But, no, I don't care much for Canada. Now, for some good news! Daddy found a job in Jesup (next town over) as a mechanic. So we wouldn't have to leave Georgia. We will definitely be moving, seeing as how I caused Mama to kick us out as soon as she did, but we'd probably be moving to either Gumbranch (couple towns over, about 30 minute drive) or Jesup. Hell, we might even stay in Ludowici. I would really enjoy moving to Glennville (the first town between Ludowici and Statesboro, where Josh and Bubba live).
Now I should inform you of the place we're staying at. It's a trailer, but it's huge. It belongs to John and Angela. John works with my mom, and Angela is just awesome. They've got a big ass yard so Megan has more than enough room to run around. She's always whining, though, which pisses me off. I think she just misses this house (I'm at "Mama's" house right now). So we are at my mother's place during the day, and at John's place during the evening and night. We usually come home at 7:30 to watch my sister during the day while Mama goes to work, then we leave at 5:30 when she gets home. We actually try to avoid her as much as possible. Because no one wants to listen to that harpy. My sister even told my dad that she wants to go with us (when we move) instead of staying with my mom. I can't blame her, but Mama gets to keep a kid. Hahah. And thank god it's not me.

Another victory
We won again tonight. I'm proud of the team. I got to bat three times. Yay! Lol. I struck out the first time, but the second time I hit a triple and slid into home, and the third time I got out because of an "interference." I'll bring that up in a moment. Anyways, when I hit that triple, I hauled ass to first, then second, third, then, finally, home. I didn't think I was going to make it, so I slid. Luckily, when I slid, I knocked the ball out of the catcher's hand so she dropped it, which made me safe. I was like OMG! Haha.
Now, onto the bullshit call of the night, which happened to be towards me this time. Here's how it happened: I hit the ball, I ran. I ran straight to second. Then I waited. Instead of watching Daddy like I should've been (he's the assistant coach), I was watching the ball. The girl after me hit it, and I took off. Unfortunately for me, 3rd baseman was on the line. Meaning she was in my running space. So, I ran into her. But, of course, I just kept right on going and made 3rd. Then, the ump called an interference. He was damn right there was an interference. She interfered with my damn running. So Daddy, both my other coaches, and a few people in the bleachers had something to say. Then, the field ump, who happened to be on my side (yay!) told the ump how much of a bullshit call that was, and why it was so. Of course, after he'd explained, it was too late for me to get back onto the field. So, I got out. That sucked, but it was okay.
The inning after that, which was the last inning, went fast. None of the other team made it to 1st. We did great after I got out due to that bullshit call. We won 23-13.
After the game, Daddy and I went to Arby's. I got a beef and cheddar with a Dr (No period in the name) Pepper and Daddy got a chicken and bacon sandwich with a sweet tea. He finished off his meal pretty quickly, but I didn't even finish my sandwich, and I only ate like, two fries. I'm not a big fan of Arby's fries. They taste funny. To me, at least.

Another Richmond Hill game
Tonight I have another game in Richmond Hill. Last time we were there, we won 13 - 3 or something like that. I really don't remember. But anyways, as I mentioned already, we've got another game there today. In fact, I'm going to be leaving in about 30 minutes. I just wanted to get this post in before I decided I didn't want to. We won our game last night 11-1, and I hit an outfield ball AND I made it back home. So I was pretty excited. :D
We did great last night, anyways. Everyone played hard. :] Tonight will be a different team than who we played in RH last time, I think. I don't know.. but I kinda hope it's the same team because the other pitcher was a slow-pitcher, so it was pretty easy to hit her pitches.
I should be off now, I've got to get my shirt out of the dryer.

Moving
I'm not sure if I've already mentioned this, but Daddy wants a job in Kings Bay (that's about 1 1/2 hours away, so 3 hours from Bubba -dies-), so him and I will probably be moving down there. Which ultimately means I'll be leaving everything and everyone I grew up with. I guess a good thing is that I'll be able to get a new start. Everyone can judge me all over again, and more than likely be proved wrong. If they've got a negative judgment, of course. Like Ashley Foster thought I was a dumb bitch, and I thought she was just a straight up bitch. Now she's a good friend of mine.
I'll get to find more ways to get in trouble, too. That's actually exciting for me. Although King's Bay is a naval base, so I'll definitely be limiting myself to how I can cause trouble.
Another exciting thought I've had is who my next boyfriend will be. Meeting new people is always exciting, but meeting that person you feel something for is even better. New friends... that'll be nice. Hopefully I'll have more there than I do here. I've got about... -thinks- Carlos, William, Shaquille, Shinqual, Ashley, Shelly, Vincent, Chris, Tim, Ensin, Kayla, Tevin, Spencer, Hunter, Sierra, Taylor... yeah, those are the only friends I can think of right now. I'm going to miss them. But maybe, just maybe, I'll find more friends. And at least I'll be able to bring Megan with me. If I couldn't bring her, I wouldn't want to go. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to go as it is, but I want to stay with my Daddy. Mama and I just don't get along well enough anymore. Megan truly is my best friend, and I'd just die if I didn't have her. Leaving Chris and Bubba is hard enough, trust me. But leaving Megan would make it absolutely unbearable.
Chris's last day
So, as of today, my life is officially in the process of getting drilled into the ground. It's my best friend's last day of school. I'm going to miss the hell out of him. I won't have my best friend in school anymore. :[ He wants to get his GED, so his Mama is finally letting him. I think it's stupid, considering we're juniors, and we've got like.. one more full week after this one until school's done for the summer. Then we'd be seniors. His last day was supposed to be tomorrow, but nooo. He got lucky and his Mama decided today could be his last day. And, go figure, I didn't go to school today because this is Final week, and I've only got two finals, so I'll be going tomorrow and Thursday.

BBQ
Yesterday afternoon Daddy and I went to another barbeque. Same people from last weekend. We had a lot of fun. Me, John, and Chris had a bouncy ball fight. Chris had on some Transformers armor and the lid to a metal garbage can, and John and I were throwing the bouncy balls at him. It was too much fun. John threw one and it ricocheted and hit Chris in the jaw. I was amused, to say the least. After we left from their house this morning (about 10 or so), we went to IGA to get some celery, peanut butter, and raisins for my sister (she wants to make Mama a Mother's Day present). Unfortunately, IGA was closed, so we ended up going damn near into Hinesville to Food Lion (about a 20 minute drive) to get the stuff. After that, we came home. So we got home around 11:20 or something. Maybe a bit earlier. I'm not sure. Didn't really look at the clock when I came in. I had to get on Farmville to harvest my blueberries... although they'd died so I just plowed... I really need to plant something new. I got a big ass bag of SunChips while we were at FL. I like them. :]

New WP blog
I've made a Wordpress blog for my pictures. I figured more blogs means more critique. Here's the address, if anyone cares or wants it: http://ashleymaephotography.wordpress.com/

Photography
For a while there I lost my obsession with photography. Well, guess what! I've got it back. :D My Aunt Julie commented on how much she liked my pictures. Here's what she had to say: "...very seriously, I really think you should think about learning more about photography.... I love the random pics you've been posting. They're completely awesome, when not (some are) breathtaking. You must have a pretty good camera there. Keep up the work! I look forward to it....
(National Geographic awaits you, girl!)" and "Good you should, you're awesome! On my myspace, I have a friend who is a nature photographer, even his pics don't do yours justice!"Like, wow. Talk about an ego-boost! Lol. So, just for her, I went out back (at around 9:30pm) and took some more pictures for her. It was dark, so the flash really brightened up a lot of things that would've looked better in natural light.

The sunburn of my life
Here's how this starts:
Saturday night, Daddy took my sister and I with him to a barbecue. He got so drunk we ended up staying there overnight (since I only have my permit, I can only drive with a sober parent in the car, although I usually drive him around when he's drunk) and leaving the next morning. We got back home around 9:30. Mama'd apparently been making plans to take my sister to the beach with her boss's step-daughter (going to the beach was my idea, anyways), but hadn't told me about it. Of course, the weekend before she'd said she'd take us next weekend, but I thought she'd forgotten or had just said that to shut me up since I hadn't been to the beach since August. So, we get there, catch hell trying to find a parking place, ended up parking in the grass somewhere (but still had to pay the meter, how lovely), then walking about 10 minutes to find Renee' (boss's step-daughter). Mama's lazy self made me pull the heavy ass cooler through the sand (how nice of her). She'd brought her 15 year old, Seth (who was kinda cute, by the way), and her 3 other kids, Hayden, Kayla, and Griffin. We were out there a good three hours or so. I even picked up a jellyfish. :D
My dumb ass had worn shorts the whole time because I'm very self-conscious about my thighs. So what the shorts and bikini top covered is pale, and everything else is red as hell. Like someone spent too much time in a tanning bed. And believe me, it's pure hell. I very much regret going. A good thing about it is that instead of black arm, stomach, and leg hair, it's now blonde. And another good thing is that after the burn goes away, I should have a nice tan. :]
The pain is excruciating. Getting to sleep was hell, getting out of bed was hell, taking a shower was hell, getting dressed was hell... I wonder how much more hell I'll get to experience throughout the day, since Mama's making me go to school today.
I even had to miss my game last night! We won 15-3, though. I wish I could've gone. We've got another game tonight that I'll hopefully be able to suck up the pain for. Daddy says they're going to need me tonight because we're going to be about 4 short. And I play outfield, so I'll probably (but hopefully not) be filling in some of the infield positions.
